Job summary

Hope Youth Ranch in Hudson, Florida is seeking a Middle School Instructional Assistant to support classroom instruction and foster student growth. In this role, you will assist the Lead Teacher, providing individualized attention in intentionally small classrooms.

You will be responsible for supervising students, managing behavior, and collaborating with staff to implement effective academic support. A competitive pay rate of $15–$15.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package are offered, including paid holidays and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching or classroom support experience.
• Experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
• Must be able to provide proof of degree(s) and/or certification(s).
• Current and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans.
• Provide personalized instruction and support to students.
• Supervise students during various school activities.
• Assist in managing student behavior and maintaining a positive environment.
• Help maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
