Sauk County is seeking a Manager for the Mental Health & Recovery Services (MHRS) unit within the Human Services Department to provide administrative, quality, and clinical oversight of all MHRS programs. This role advances program compliance, service delivery, and performance across the unit.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or another related field.
• 5 years post-licensure experience.
• Licensed as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor.

Aufgaben

• Interview, train, monitor, evaluate, promote, discipline unit employees, and approve absences and leave time.
• Ensure funding, service, audit, and reporting obligations per state statutes and grant requirements.
• Assist Director and BAS Manager in developing the unit annual budget.
• Train and prepare staff regarding roles, statutes, credentialing, billing, documentation, confidentiality, and privacy rules.
• Monitor schedules, case assignments and caseloads, unit programs, and quality/regulatory compliance.
• Provide group and individual supervision to practitioners; consult in emergencies.
• Screen referrals and assess appropriate level of care; monitor progress and discharge planning.
• Develop and oversee contracts; evaluate new services and funding opportunities.
