• Performs analyses with precision and accuracy using established procedures and QC; evaluates results for validity.
• Verifies patient/specimen IDs and labels, processes specimens, and follows proper collection and handling protocols.
• Trains and guides new employees, students and residents at the bench; documents proficiency and training progress.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace, monitors supplies, and tracks expirations per protocol.
• Reports critical values and ensures timely documentation and retention of specimens as required.
