• Operates instruments with established QC and documents results accurately.
• Verifies patient IDs and specimen labeling; ensures proper handling and processing of specimens.
• Instructs new staff and students on procedures and maintains training proficiency.
• Maintains clean work area, monitors supplies and expiration dates.
• Documents results, critical values, and reports according to policy and timelines.
• Follows safety protocols, uses PPE and reports hazards promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
