Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent Medical Laboratory Technology Program that meets ASCP/AMT requirements.
• Bachelor's degree and certificate/diploma or military lab training may be considered in lieu of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine lab tests following established standards under limited supervision.
• Operates instruments with precision and reports results accurately.
• Verifies patient and specimen IDs and properly labels/specimens.
• Instructs new staff and documents proficiency.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and monitors supply expiration dates.
• Documents results and completes required forms and reports.
