Qualifications

• Ability to perform waived to highly complex test procedures.
• Strong regulatory adherence and quality control mindset.

Responsibilities

• Performs and reports waived, moderately complex, and highly complex test procedures on patient specimens adhering to SOPs.
• Provides patient care through clinical correlation of results and rapid notification of critical values.
• Maintains major automated equipment, calibration and troubleshooting; contacts vendor for repairs as needed.
• Performs calibration and quality control procedures with proper records.
• Participates in proficiency testing and reviews results with leaders.
• Contributes to validation of new procedures and equipment for current lab technology.
