Job summary

St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist for a 13-week in-house contract.

You will perform analytical procedures across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology, urinalysis, coagulation, and phlebotomy, with routine instrument maintenance and quality control. Requirements include current Med Tech certification (ASCP or equivalent), 2 years of experience, strong communication skills, and proficient computer use.

Qualifications

• Current Med Tech Certification from ASCP or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience in a laboratory assignment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills and Excel/Windows applications.
• Work a minimum of 36 hours per week during the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy and specimen collection with appropriate techniques.
• Safe handling to maintain specimen integrity and quality.
• Labeling, accessioning, and delivering specimens correctly.
• Respond promptly to STAT/SOON/NOW requests with professionalism.
• Communicate information to appropriate departments and staff.
