Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Part-time Medical Lab Tech to join our team.

This role involves performing technical analyses across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology, urinalysis, coagulation, and phlebotomy, plus routine maintenance of lab instrumentation. Ideal candidates will have an Associate’s in Biological Sciences with an MLT internship and MLS certification or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Biological Sciences with completion of an approved Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) internship required.
• MLS certification (Military) preferred; experience encouraged.
• Good written and verbal communication skills preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in phlebotomy and specimen collection using appropriate techniques.
• Demonstrates safe handling and proper collection techniques to maintain specimen integrity.
• Labels, accessioning, and delivers specimens to the proper department.
• Responds promptly to STAT/ASAP NOW requests with cooperative attitude.
