Job summary

StudentNest is seeking tutors to deliver targeted reading or math instruction to students across elementary and high school levels. Roles are part-time with sessions at Palm Beach County campuses.

Tutors will provide 1:1 or small-group support using provided curricula and educational technology, and assist in implementing IEP accommodations. Experience in ESE or targeted math tutoring is preferred, with strong communication and a passion for student growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in ESE instruction or specialized math tutoring.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning needs.
• Passion for fostering student growth in a supportive classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted instruction in reading or math to support elementary and/or high school aged students.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group tutoring using provided curriculum, evidence-based strategies, and educational technology.
• Support Special Education students by implementing accommodations and interventions aligned with their IEPs.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles, academic needs, and developmental levels.
• Maintain effective classroom management to foster a safe, engaging, and conducive learning environment.
• Track student progress and adjust instruction to promote academic growth and skill mastery.
• Prepare lesson plans for sessions during designated preparation time.
