Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is seeking Educational Therapists or SPED certified teachers for Grades 8-12 intervention, focusing on Math or ELA. Roles involve flexible locations including our learning center, clients' homes, or neutral spaces like libraries.

Position is experienced level as a 1099 contract, offering 60-minute sessions and dynamic study plans using your expertise in EF-based learning and neurodivergent student support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 3–12 hours per week availability.
• Knowledge of EF-based learning, SPED, or ASD; SPED certification preferred.
• Subject matter and lesson planning expertise.
• 3+ years of teaching or intervention experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful and patient education coaching combined with Math or Literacy tutoring.
• Use assessments to create dynamic study plans for neurodivergent students.
• Tutoring sessions at learning center, client’s home, or library.
• Sessions generally last 60 minutes.
• Assessments provided; supplemental curricula may be used with TPAPT resources.
