You will deliver targeted instruction in reading or math to support students from elementary to high school, using the provided curriculum and educational technology. Qualifications

• Florida teaching credential issued by the state.
• Bachelor's degree with a Florida SOE (ESE Certificate).
• Experience teaching or supporting reading instruction.
• Experience with Special Education students.
• Familiarity with Science of Reading or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to pass DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance.
• Provide 3 professional references.
• Detail-oriented and dependable.
• Effective communication and reliable transportation.
• You love learning, teaching, and empowering others.

Schedule:

Hours:

• Flexible, part-time

Pay:

• $30 per hour

In this role, you will:

• Deliver targeted instruction in reading or math to support elementary and/or high school aged students.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group tutoring using provided curriculum, evidence-based strategies, and educational technology.

• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles, academic needs, and developmental levels.
• Maintain effective classroom management to foster a safe, engaging, and conducive learning environment.
• Track student progress and adjust instruction to promote academic growth and skill mastery.
• Prepare lesson plans for sessions during designated preparation time.

• A teaching credential issued by the state of Florida A bachelor's degree accompanied by a Statement of Eligibility issued by the Florida Department of Education (ESE Certificate)
• Have classroom experience teaching or supporting reading instruction
• Have experience with Special Education students
• Have experience using the Science of Reading or willingness to be trained in this
• In this role you will need to be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
