Job summary

Southern Oregon Goodwill is hiring a Material Handler to help operate our store and support the mission of turning donations into jobs. You will oversee inventories, keep spaces clean, assist with client programs, and work a variety of shifts, including weekends, to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Speak and understand English sufficient to read materials, communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Experience in customer service desirable.
• Experience in retail or comparable environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs inventories, tallies, or other forms of tracking as required for the retail and operation environments.
• Conducts general housekeeping functions, such as vacuuming, sweeping outside areas, dusting, and rest room maintenance.
• Assists GoodWorks staff with implementation of work plans and guidelines as established for client programs, as assigned by store manager.
• Works a variety of shifts including weekends as assigned.
• Performs daily checks and maintenance on equipment.
