Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. seeks a Material Handler to support daily production operations and maximize revenue for mission programs. You will move donated goods, assist in sorting and pricing, and uphold safety and policy standards.

The role requires handling donations, operating a pallet jack, training teammates, and maintaining efficient warehouse flow in a community-focused environment. Excellent attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Move goods in the store/plant/warehouse to and from storage or production areas using material handling equipment.
• Ensure proper handling and processing of incoming donations in and out of the warehouse including the pallet jack.
• Bales salvageable merchandise and determine items that can be baled or processed separately.
• Meet production standards for stemming, hanging, pricing, sorting, stocking, and pulling.
• Ensure all products are rotated continuously.
• Sort donations according to company guidelines.
• Perform basic calculations to track donations, count production, and price items within guidelines.
