Heart of Florida Health Center seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join the primary health care team in a supportive capacity to physicians and nurse practitioners. The role includes administering medications, documenting patient data, and coordinating care across locations.

The LPN must maintain confidentiality, adhere to HIPAA, and provide quality patient education while contributing to population health efforts in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Current Florida LPN license and certification to administer medication.
• BLS certification from an accredited provider (AHA/Red Cross).
• Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• Ability to apply nursing process: observation, interviewing, communication, and clinical judgment; maintain confidentiality; Spanish fluency desirable.
• HIPAA knowledge and confidentiality of patient information.

Responsabilités

• Greets patients and maintains a professional demeanor.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Documents vitals, labs, and patient information for provider review.
• Manages nurse schedule and communicates appointment changes.
• Assists with vaccinations and injections as directed by physician or NP.
• Maintains patient privacy and adheres to HIPAA requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by leadership.
