Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Substitute or Professional Educator License (PEL) registered with the Regional Superintendent in Boone/Winnebago county.
• Ability to work effectively with administrators, staff, students and the community.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons according to provided lesson plans and materials left by the regular teacher.
• Maintain classroom discipline and order to support a conducive learning environment.
• Supervise students during class hours, monitor behavior and attendance.
• Assist students with assignments and provide guidance as needed.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learners across grade levels.
• Collaborate with staff, administrators and parents to address concerns.
