Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification or in process within 3 months of hire.
• WV Nurse's Aide Certification required by WV DHHR.

Responsibilities

• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts per policy; ensure accuracy.
• Measure and record temperatures, pulse, and respirations per policy.
• Provide nursing care per assessment, plan of care and care plan.
• Operate equipment per manuals: vital signs tools, k-pad, scales, oxygen tanks, drainage systems, SCDs, CPM, Bladder Scanner.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Assist with feeding and document intake.
• Assist with lifting, turning, and repositioning of patients.
• Report abuse and incidents per policy and federal requirements.
• Assist with ambulation and gait training; comply with therapist directions.
• Apply orthotic devices as prescribed by therapists.
