Job summary

Furnish for Good Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Logistics & Warehouse Manager to oversee the receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of donated furnishings.

You will supervise a moving team, ensure safety, and coordinate with the Director of Logistics and Warehouse to support in-kind donations. The role requires 40 hours per week onsite, with occasional weekend work, and involvement with donors, volunteers, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory logistics/warehouse roles.
• Understanding of logistics, transportation, and warehouse management standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise a dedicated moving team responsible for logistics, transportation, and warehouse functions.
• Provide onboarding, coaching, and ongoing training to ensure safety procedures and excellent customer service.
• Maintain employee documentation, certifications, licenses, and background checks per policies.
• Oversee maintenance and safety of trucks, equipment, and facilities.
• Coordinate with programs team to assist volunteer engagement and support Good to Go moving services.
• Collaborate with local nonprofits to manage item intake and inventory.
