Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) seeks a Planning Engineer at Taylor, TX to perform engineering analysis and provide technical support for the planning and operation of the electric power system in accordance with NERC Standards, ERCOT Protocols and Market Guides.

Responsibilities include production cost simulation and power flow analysis to improve reliability and efficiency, leading multifunctional teams, mentoring engineers, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• PE Professional Engineer certification is preferred.
• Senior Engineer requires additional 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform production cost simulation and power flow analysis to improve grid reliability and efficiency.
• Lead multifunctional teams and coordinate with ERCOT personnel and stakeholders.
• Mentor and advise less experienced engineers/analysts and lead studies.
• Demonstrate expert use of power system software, spreadsheets, and databases.
