Job summary

The Franklin Group seeks a Community Manager with LIHTC experience for Renaissance Apartments in Virginia Beach, VA. This role oversees leasing, staffing, budgeting, and resident services to ensure financial and operational success.

Responsibilities include supervising office and maintenance teams, enforcing policies, and maintaining compliance with Fair Housing and safety regulations. CAM/RAM recommended; benefits include health and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years related experience.
• CAM or RAM designation recommended; Fair Housing training within 1 day of hire and other courses within 7 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate the community within the financial guidelines and approved budget.
• Ensure rents are collected and posted timely; issue 5-day notices and evictions as needed.
• Supervise office staff and maintenance supervisor; oversee maintenance operations.
• Direct leasing efforts and supervise leasing personnel to achieve occupancy goals.
• Maintain OSHA standards and company safety policies across all departments.
• Prepare and analyze leasing, financial, and occupancy reports.
