Job summary

The Franklin Group in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Community Manager with LIHTC experience to oversee operations for Kindlewood. The role drives leasing, resident services, budgeting, and compliance while supervising office and maintenance teams.

Salary ranges from $47,736 to $79,560 per year, with a focus on financial performance and progressive leadership within a growing multifamily platform.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of LIHTC compliance and related program regulations.
• The CAM or RAM designations are highly recommended; Fair Housing training must be completed within 1 day of hire and related courses within 7 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate the community within the financial guidelines and approved budget.
• Ensure rents are collected on time and postings are accurate; issue 5-day notices and evictions.
• Supervise office staff and maintenance teams; oversee leasing activities.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, ensure OSHA standards are followed, and report on performance and occupancy.
• Lead resident retention initiatives and manage reporting on leasing trends and financial performance.
