Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook, Windows environment, and internet research.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and complete multiple tasks with attention to detail, within stated deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team player and occasional evenings/weekends or travel as needed.
• Commitment to the mission of South Texas College.

Responsibilities

• Provide and promote excellent customer service at the Circulation Desk and help users locate materials.
• Perform circulation duties and assist with inventory, shelving, and mail distribution.
• Monitor library computers and maintain departmental files and records.
• Assist with promoting library services at outreach events and maintain accurate reports.
• Handle cash following cash handling procedures and support displays.
