Job summary

Buckle is hiring for a Leader in Training and Floor Leader at The Shops At Perry Crossing, Plainfield, IN. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience through sales, merchandising, and daily operations under the Store Manager and Leadership Team.

The position requires a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and offers full-time benefits. Employment emphasizes customer service, leadership development, and store performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Sales Generation and Guest Service: Greet Guests, answer questions, recommend merchandise, create a wardrobe experience, demonstrate product knowledge, stay updated on promotions and policies, hit sales goals, provide legendary service in all areas.
• Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: Recognize recruiting opportunities, train and motivate new Teammates, maintain a positive floor culture, coach appearance and presentation, participate in daily setup and training, ensure adherence to performance standards and policies.
• Operations: Maintain flexible schedule, complete openings/closing checklists, monitor security and loss prevention, execute POS procedures, handle corporate communications, manage returns and exchanges, keep a clean, organized store.
• Supervisory and Leadership: Provide feedback, support leadership, drive store growth, maintain professional relationships, fulfill the store mission with strong customer service, take on special projects.
