Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the principal, teachers are responsible for the instruction, progress, tracking, and discipline of all students in assigned classes, and perform other duties as assigned and required.
• Within CPS Framework for Teaching, teachers should refine their practice and meet student needs through high-quality instruction and assessment.
• Create an engaging learning environment with strong classroom management to support a diverse student population.
• Collaborate with case managers, counselors, and general education teachers to address instructional and social needs of students.
