North Carolina Central University is seeking an Academic Services Professional, Senior to support the School of Law's Academic Success Program. The role focuses on counseling law students, teaching workshops, and guiding bar preparation initiatives.

You will collaborate with faculty and administration to improve retention, academic performance, and bar passage while mentoring students from first year through post-bar outcomes.

Qualificações

• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Ability to provide academic counseling and coaching confidentially.
• Experience in workshop development and delivery for law students.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Provide academic support designed to increase retention and graduation of law students.
• Analyze student needs to tailor confidential academic counseling and coaching.
• Provide workshops on time management, study skills, exam prep, and legal writing.
• Work with administration and faculty to maximize student success and bar passage.
• Offer individualized feedback to enhance writing and analytical skills.
• Teach Academic Success skills courses and assist with tutorial programs.
• Meet with students for one-on-one academic counselling and advise at-risk students.
• Mentor students from first year through post-bar exam and participate in public service projects.
