Job summary

Viper Staffing Services L.L.C. is seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our onsite team in Seattle, WA.

The role emphasizes high-quality obstetric care, safety for mother and newborn, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary hospital staff. Candidates should have a valid RN license in WA, at least two years of L&D experience in a hospital, and familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Washington (or eligible to obtain)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Labor & Delivery in a hospital setting
• NRP certification preferred; obstetric nursing experience highly valued

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rates; assess labor progress and respond to complications
• Administer medications including pain management such as epidurals
• Assist with labor induction/augmentation and neonatal resuscitation as needed
• Maintain sterile technique during suturing, catheterization, and other procedures
• Educate patients on labor, postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care
