Job summary

Minute Man Arc is hiring a Job Coach to support adults with developmental and other disabilities in developing vocational skills and achieving meaningful employment within the community. The role involves hands-on training, individualized coaching, and ongoing workplace support in community settings.

You will collaborate with individuals, employers, and program staff to promote inclusion, personal growth, and safe, supportive environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience and a clean record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, Driver Safety, and other mandated trainings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized job coaching, vocational training, and ongoing employment support to adults with disabilities.
• Assist individuals in developing essential workplace skills, including communication, time management, and appropriate workplace behaviors.
• Support individuals in learning new job responsibilities and increasing independence within employment settings.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with community employers to support successful employment experiences.
• Provide guidance to individuals navigating workplace expectations and professional relationships.
• Collaborate with program staff to identify strengths and opportunities for vocational development.
• Encourage self-advocacy and independence while supporting employment goals.
• Monitor progress and document vocational goals and activities.
