Job summary

i3 is seeking motivated Instructional Systems Designers for a temporary, on-call role to support training development at our Huntsville, AL or Orlando, FL offices. The role spans Associate to Senior levels and uses ADDIE to develop IMI materials with measurable performance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design and Technology, Education or equivalent.
• 1–3 years for Associate ISD, 2–7 years for Mid-Level ISD, 6–12 years for Senior ISD in DoD ISD work.
• Experience developing courseware with Multimedia Learning Tools (Adobe Captivate and/or Storyline 360).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working with DoD/Military and U.S. Citizenship.
• Active Secret level security clearance and ability to maintain the clearance.

Responsibilities

• Attend data collection meetings to record all required data.
• Research and leverage instructional design theories and ADDIE to support learning objectives.
• Collaborate with SME to extract technical content for objectives.
• Identify IMI solutions with development teams for innovative training.
• Develop curriculum including objectives, evaluations, handbooks, and lesson plans.
• Coordinate with ISDs, Project Manager, and team to meet quality and schedule requirements.
• Ensure 100% of work output complies with requirements and standards.
• Organize course content according to instructional design plans.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
