Job summary

Northlake Behavioral Health System’s The Ness Center seeks a compassionate Intensive Outpatient Therapist to join our behavioral health team. This full-time, exempt role provides therapeutic services within our IOP for adults, adolescents, and families using evidence-based approaches in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in psychiatric, mental health, or substance use treatment.
• Current, active professional license issued by the appropriate licensing body in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate IOP group therapy sessions.
• Provide individual and family therapy as needed.
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge documentation.
• Monitor patient progress and update treatment goals.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and other treatment team members.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination activities.
