Job summary

Family Care Center’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Technician delivers comprehensive, high-quality evidenced-based care to clients needing structured mental health treatment in an outpatient setting under the direct supervision of a credentialed clinical licensed provider.

The role supports crisis prevention, intake and triage, group therapy, and collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to ensure holistic care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• One year of experience in mental health required.
• Experience working in an IOP setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify mental health and substance abuse issues under direct supervision of a credentialed clinical licensed provider.
• Complete thorough behavioral health intake and triage assessments under direct supervision of a credentialed clinical licensed provider.
• Provide crisis prevention assessment and interventions to include administration of extended C-SSRs, crisis response plan, review coping skills.
