Job summary

The Ness Center in Louisiana seeks an Intensive Outpatient Therapist to deliver evidence-based therapy in the IOP setting for adults, adolescents, and families. You will help patients build coping skills, support recovery, and work within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team to achieve goals.

The role requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology, at least two years of clinical experience, and an active Louisiana license (LCSW/LMSW/LPC/LMFT).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in psychiatric or mental health settings.
• Current active Louisiana professional license (LCSW/LMSW/LPC/PLPC/LMFT) required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate IOP group therapy sessions.
• Provide individual and family therapy as needed.
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge documentation.
• Monitor patient progress and update treatment goals.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and other treatment team members.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination activities.
