Job summary

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Baton Rouge is seeking a licensed clinical professional to join the Intensive Outpatient Program team. The role focuses on delivering clinical services to adults and seniors, including assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning, within a multidisciplinary setting.

The ideal candidate has a CSW/LMSW/LCSW/LMFT/LPC/LPC-A or Psychologist license, 0–1 year post-graduate experience, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

Must hold valid clinical license or eligibility in at least one of the listed disciplines.
Experience in mental health treatment planning and discharge planning is preferred.
Ability to perform assessments and develop treatment plans for adults and seniors.

Responsibilities

Provides direct clinical services according to professional standards.
Plans and conducts group therapy as assigned by program leadership.
Performs comprehensive assessments and develops treatment plans.
Reviews multidisciplinary assessments and contributes to treatment planning.
Performs case management and discharge planning.
Participates in treatment team meetings and communicates patient progress.
Delivers ethical patient services respecting dignity and diversity.
Assesses patient age, disability, and cultural needs and communicates accordingly.
Involves patients' support systems in decision making as appropriate.
Performs other duties as assigned.
