Volunteers of America–Greater New York is seeking an Intake Coordinator Supervisor for the Bronx Early Learning Center. The role leads intake, placement and evaluation of children from first contact through CPSE meetings, serving as a liaison to CPSE/CSE administrators.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Special Education or Early Childhood Education with NYS certification, and experience coordinating CPSE referrals. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Education and/or Early Childhood Education with NYS certification.
• Experience coordinating intake, evaluations and CPSE referrals preferred.
• Strong collaboration with CPSE/CSE administrators and local partners.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate initial intake process for evaluations and referrals to CPSE, including scheduling meetings with the CPSE’s.
• Monitor evaluation schedule to ensure evaluations are completed within the mandated timeline.
• Liaison with outside community-based organizations to establish linkages for referrals for evaluations and other services.
• Follow up on all consultants and/or professional staff in completing all required evaluations and submission of all administrative paperwork within mandated timelines.
• Supervise the Assistant Intake Coordinator and the Intake Assistant.
• Prepare and update class lists of children.
• Perform other related duties as requested.
