Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Management, or related field.
• Experience in recreation programming, preferably with special populations.
• Licensure/certification in Therapeutic Recreation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee recreational activities for individuals with and without disabilities to promote well-being.
• Collaborate with community partners to support inclusive programming and act as liaison with families, caregivers and staff.
• Assist with Special Olympics North Carolina Forsyth County programs and participate in community outreach for adaptive recreation opportunities.
• Provide direct support to participants to ensure successful engagement in programs.
