Youth Villages is seeking a Family Intervention Specialist to support youth and families through in-home services. The role focuses on coordinating transportation, supervising visits, teaching parenting skills, and documenting progress in an EMR.

The position emphasizes strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a flexible, community-based setting with a driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates transports and supervised visits and maintains contract-required documentation.
• Teaches and demonstrates parenting skills.
• Provides daily and weekly reports to the referral source and direct supervisor.
• Maintains professional communication with referral sources.
• Completes ongoing assessments as outlined by the referral source.
• Attends 3 weekly meetings for professional development and booster trainings to enhance clinical skills.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation in an EMR.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
