Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Family Intervention Specialist in Oregon for in-home, intensive support to keep families together. You will manage a caseload of 4–6 families and conduct regular sessions to build parenting and communication skills.

Travel to families’ homes (60–80 miles) is required, with collaboration across providers, case workers and courts to create a strong treatment plan. Strong scheduling and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a social services discipline preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline required.
• Experience working with at-risk youth and families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carries a caseload of 4 to 6 families.
• Holds individual and family sessions 3 times a week.
• Performs ongoing youth assessments from a strength-based viewpoint.
• Attends weekly meetings for professional development and booster trainings.
• Travels up to 60–80 miles to meet families in homes and communities.
• Collaborates with providers, case workers and courts on treatment plans.
• Provides on-call crisis support to youth and family.
• Documents accurately in an EMR system.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
