Job summary

BAL in San Francisco is seeking an Immigration Consultant to support high-volume casework and deliver day-to-day client service. You will handle case production, client communications, and prepare filings using established templates.

Reporting to associates, you will build expertise across employment-based NIV, IV, and PERM petitions, coordinate with government agencies, and help update procedures as immigration law changes. A strong eye for detail and learning agility are essential.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary contact for routine client communications and updates.
• Handles case production, including initiating, preparing, and filing high-volume immigration filings.
• Performs administrative duties such as scanning and filing supporting documentation.
• Maintains accurate and complete case records and data integrity.
• Uses reports and dashboards to prioritize high volumes of work and meet deadlines.
• Conducts or supports initial case assessments and gathers required documentation.
• Drafts immigration forms and supporting letters for various case types.
• Coordinates with government agencies to track status, respond to RFEs, and monitor deadlines.
• Builds foundational knowledge across immigration case types and procedural requirements.
• Ensures compliance and helps update internal procedures as immigration law changes.
• Participates in training and process-improvement initiatives; escalates issues when needed.
