Job summary

AHRC NYC is hiring multiple Full-Time Job Coaches to support individuals with IDD in achieving meaningful employment through the Brooklyn EBS program. The role focuses on field-based coaching with on-site support and gradual fade as workers become proficient.

You will manage a 10–15 client caseload, provide training, document progress, and assist with travel and scheduling needs. Competitive hourly wages and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience a Plus.
• Flexibility in work hours and ability to respond to scheduling needs.
• Teaching or mentoring experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent customer service and client-facing experience.
• Strong case note writing and documentation skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of about 10-15 clients, primarily in the field (90% of time spent at individuals' job sites).
• Teach, assist, and support new workers in their jobs using demonstration, modeling, counseling, observation and discussion.
• Provide training and support to workers with disabilities, ensuring their success in their roles.
• Assist new workers with travel from home to job sites when needed.
• Write detailed service notes after each session to monitor client progress and outcomes.
