Job summary

Pratum Co is seeking a Community Manager to lead an affordable housing property portfolio with a focus on HUD compliance, occupancy targets, and strong resident relations. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, oversee recertifications, and coordinate with the Regional Property Manager to drive performance and revenue growth.

The role requires housing program experience, excellent communication, and the ability to manage complex property operations while upholding company values.

Qualifications

• Experience managing affordable housing properties.
• Strong knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, and Fair Housing Laws.
• Demonstrated leadership and leasing process success.

Responsibilities

• Manage property and staff ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and other policies.
• Assist with HUD management, occupancy reviews, and inspections.
• Administer HUD recertifications and agency compliance procedures.
• Oversee outreach, sales, and customer service to meet performance targets.
• Evaluate market conditions and competition; pursue revenue growth.
• Provide resident services and resolve issues; ensure timely reporting.
• Operate within budget; maintain curb appeal and property standards.
• Lead staff meetings; supervise and counsel employees.
