Job summary

AWARE Kalispell, MT is hiring a PATH housing navigator for a full-time position. The role pays $47,000 per year and offers a competitive benefits package. You will help individuals secure housing, prepare necessary documents, and coordinate with landlords and service providers.

Qualified candidates hold a BS/BA in a Human Services field with at least one year of relevant experience and a Montana driver’s license. Homeless outreach experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Human Services field and at least 1 year of direct work experience.
• Experience with homeless outreach preferred.
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, a Montana Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals who are homeless or at risk obtain Social Security disability benefits.
• Support clients in securing permanent housing and assist with transitional housing placement.
• Inspect apartments using HUD safety standards.
• Communicate with landlords and assist with lease and housing documents.
• Conduct housing needs appointments and document interactions.
• Provide housing case management and connect clients with service providers.
• Engage in outreach to high-risk groups and uphold client rights.
