Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Telecom Operator II to handle inbound and outbound calls via a PC-based PBX Smart Console, providing accurate information and coordinating with medical staff across the center.

The role requires at least 6 months of call center or related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will monitor alarms, respond to emergencies, and direct calls to the appropriate departments, supporting after-hours operations and weekend shifts.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum six months in a call center or doctor’s front office setting is required.
• Strong communication and listening skills with callers.
• Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
• Day shift with weekend work is required.

Mansioni

• Process incoming and outgoing calls from a computer call processing application.
• Direct calls to appropriate departments and medical staff inside/outside the medical center.
• Monitor alarms and respond to emergency notifications promptly.
• Provide accurate information to callers and assist with patient location calls.
• Take messages for the 24 Hours Answering Service and perform light clerical duties.
