Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking an Environmental Services Associate for the Evening shift to support clean, safe patient areas. You will perform full-range cleaning of restrooms and patient rooms, follow infection prevention protocols, and ensure proper waste handling, including regulated materials and chemotherapy waste.

You will use PPE correctly, follow safety guidelines, and interact with staff, patients, and visitors with a courteous demeanor.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading/writing required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Perform restroom and patient room cleaning per protocol.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and select proper chemicals.
• Maintain walls, doors, floors, and equipment; routine cleaning tasks.
• Properly remove waste and recyclables; handle regulated materials.
• Use PPE correctly and follow safety guidelines.
• Adhere to hospital policies and use UV light equipment as required.
• Document daily assignments and adjust for staff shortages.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in improvement projects.
