Job summary
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Hospice Nursing Aide to assist with personal care for hospice patients and support families in caregiving tasks. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses and help maintain comfort, dignity, and safety at home.
The role requires current nurse aide credentials, good standing on the state registry, and basic technology skills to document care and progress. A valid driver license and reliable transportation are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of full-time direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility).
- One year of direct client care in home health or hospice within the last five years.
- Registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, toileting) and basic hygiene.
- Support families by coaching on routine care and comfort measures for hospice patients.
- Coordinate with supervising RNs to report patient progress and needs.
