Job summary

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health seeks an Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) Therapist to work with children, adolescents, and families in homes and community settings across the Greater Cincinnati area. You will collaborate with an IHBT Care Coordinator and an interdisciplinary team to deliver intensive, tailored interventions with a focus on family stability and safety.

The role requires a Masters degree in a related field and Ohio licensure (LPC/LSW/LMFT) preferred, with at least

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Ohio licensure such as LPC, LSW, or LMFT strongly preferred; independent LISW, LPCC, or IMFT also considered.
• At least one year of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families in child welfare or juvenile justice.
• Experience in mental health or related settings; home- or community-based work preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage families from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify client strengths, needs, and family dynamics.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for complex mental health needs.
• Provide intensive home- and community-based therapies to children, adolescents, and families.
• Use evidence-based approaches including family therapy, CBT, and trauma-informed care.
• Collaborate with IHBT Care Coordinator and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
