Responsibilities

• Review medical records concurrently and retrospectively to ensure timely documentation and compliance.
• Assist clinical staff to resolve deficiencies and improve chart completion processes.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and opportunities for improvement in HIM workflows.
• Ensure all entries are properly authenticated before the record is determined complete.
• Communicate with HIS staff and other departments regarding Health Information Management processes.
