Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in health information management, or healthcare clerical support required
• Experience in document scanning, indexing, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Filing and maintaining health records in the EHR system in a timely and organized manner
• Assist HIM leadership with operational reports, audits, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance documentation workflows
• Ensure HIPAA, Joint Commission (JC), and facility policies compliance and confidentiality of patient health information
• Prepare and scan discharge records within 24 hours of discharge
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned
