Job summary

Solatech? Soliant is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year in a contract role near Oxford, CT. The position offers 25 or 30 hours per week to evaluate and support high school students within a collaborative educational environment.

You will conduct evaluations, provide counseling, and work with staff and families to drive positive outcomes while aligning with IEP processes and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Certification and/or licensure as a School Psychologist, with experience in educational environments preferred.
• Background conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and clear understanding of IEP processes.
• Experience providing both direct counseling and consultative services in a school setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete approximately 25 student evaluations per year, ensuring all documentation and reporting are timely and thorough.
• Provide counseling and support to high school students on a regular basis, addressing personal, academic, and behavioral concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement strategies for student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings, developing recommendations and interventions for individual students.
• Maintain detailed records and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives.
