ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist to support high school students in a contract role starting ASAP through June 10, 2027. The position includes direct counseling, psychoeducational evaluations, and collaboration with teachers and families in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid and current state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience providing mental health counseling to adolescents in a school or clinical setting.
  • Skilled in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Adept at collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary school teams.
  • Comfortable managing a varied caseload and adapting to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing counseling to approximately 10 high school students, with sessions scheduled weekly or biweekly, addressing social-emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Complete 28 student evaluations over the academic year, including assessments, reports, and participation in eligibility meetings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to support student learning and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant ethical and legal guidelines.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, consulting on student progress and intervention strategies.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.
