Job summary

Soliant Health seeks a School Psychologist for a full-time, onsite contract near New Britain, CT. The role spans 35 hours weekly from August 24, 2026, to May 2027, with possible extension through the academic year.

You will support high school students’ educational and emotional needs in collaboration with staff. You will conduct evaluations, prepare PPT reports, and provide counseling while maintaining compliance and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Current and active licensure and certification as a School Psychologist in Connecticut
• Prior experience working in a school-based setting, preferably at the high school level
• Strong skills in evaluation administration and proficiency in preparing and presenting PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reports
• Ability to work onsite, fostering relationships with students and colleagues
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for high school students
• Prepare and present findings during PPT meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop student-centered plans
• Provide individual and group counseling to support students' academic and emotional growth
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress and interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in school psychology
