UC Health is seeking a dedicated security officer to protect associates, patients, visitors, and facilities. The role involves patrolling, responding to alarms, investigating incidents, and enforcing policies.

Candidates should have an associate degree in criminal justice or security management, OPOTA/state training, and IAHSS certification within 12 months. Two years in law enforcement or related security is preferred.

Competenze

• Associate degree in criminal justice or security management.
• Graduation from OPOTA or other state certified training academy preferred.
• IAHSS security officer certification within 12 months of employment.
• Basic police training preferred; Microsoft Office experience required.

Mansioni

• Patrol property and/or facilities by foot, bike or patrol vehicle to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Investigate and document all reports of criminal or unusual activity, crisis incidents and policy violations; complete incident reports.
• Conduct inspections and document potential safety hazards; submit Plant Operations work requests as needed.
• Enforce UC Health policies, procedures, and regulations; assist in enforcing laws as indicated; testify in court if necessary.
