Qualifications

• Four year college degree and related experience strongly desired.
• Two years experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision is desired.
• Strong leadership, motivation, and staff supervision abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals/objectives.
• Proficient in Windows Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures.
• Plans, directs and supervises department functions and activities.
• Maintains sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment.
• Forecasts and plans purchasing of supplies and equipment.
• Maintains staffing levels and records; conducts staff meetings.
